We have a deep passion for facilitating the appropriate use of psilocybin by people seeking transformational change in their lives. We offer 3 night / 4 day highly customized psychedelic retreats with a core offering of an individualized, guided psilocybin experience.
We have chosen to offer our retreats in British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest. The wondrous beauty of the natural world of the Great Bear Rainforest is a core ingredient of ‘set’ and ‘setting’ that is critical to a positive psychedelic experience. Additionally we take great care to provide you with excellent, nourishing meals, clean, comfortable and very private accommodations and an attentive and very discreet staff team to ensure that you can focus on getting the absolute maximum from your psychedelic journey.
Prior to arrival at our retreat, we schedule a minimum of 4 personal 1-1 video calls with your guide. We work with a team of highly experienced counsellors. They all have extensive experience in expertly facilitating psychedelic journeys in a wide range of settings and contexts. In the pre calls you begin to identify your intent for embarking on this journey. Intent is important in maximizing the experience. Trust building between you and your guide is also a key component of these pre calls.
We meet you in the small coastal town of Port Hardy on northern Vancouver Island. Port Hardy is easily accessible by car and ferry from Vancouver or via daily flights from Vancouver International Airport direct to Port Hardy (1 hour). We transfer you and your luggage to our shuttle van and transport you to the retreat setting on the shores of Johnstone Strait. Our retreat location is a serene haven nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of the Coast Mountains, offering a harmonious blend of rugged wilderness and coastal charm.
Upon arrival at the retreat in the afternoon of day 1, you’ll settle in to your private accommodations including a private ensuite bathroom. After a brief orientation, you’ll enjoy lunch while meeting your counsellor face-to-face for the first time.
After meeting with your counsellor, you’ll have the balance of the afternoon to enjoy the area around the retreat centre. We are located in a beautiful harbour on the shores of Johnstone Strait which is rich in marine wildlife and scenic beauty. Also rich in Indigenous history, the area offers unparalleled opportunities to learn more about the millennia old cultural history that surrounds you. Your options include a guided walk in the ancient forests near the retreat.
Supper is served at 6pm and after supper you will have an opportunity to meet with your counsellor to review the following days program.
After breakfast on day 2, your counsellor will prepare you an infused tea and you would move to a private space that your counsellor has prepared in advance for you to have your experience in safety, privacy and comfort. He would remain with you during your journey and help you process anything that emerges. Typically you are lying down, in comfortable clothing, often accompanied initially by gentle music.
As you begin to come back from your journey, your counsellor would assure your comfort and safety and then let you rest and process in privacy. This process lasts 4-6 hours. The evening is spent relaxing peacefully and recovering your forces gently.
This day is fully dedicated to integration and peaceful activities. In the morning of day 3, you have some solo time to continue recovering your forces gently. After lunch, if you have the energy, you have the option of a session with your counsellor to debrief before spending the balance of the afternoon again enjoying the retreat surroundings. You can participate in an optional sea kayak experience, weather dependent, to help you integrate your experience if you wish. Or explore another beautiful forest, or go for a meditative walk on the sea shore. We can also provide options for learning more about authentic Indigenous culture of the Kwakwaka'wakw people of Northern Vancouver Island. Our guides will help you make the most of this integration day and offer you opportunities to soothe your senses with the sounds, smells and sights of the Natural World around us.
In the morning of day 4 after breakfast, we’ll transport you back to Port Hardy for on-going connections.
Our 4 day program includes
$7490 CAD per person + GST
Companion pricing is $1695 (companion pricing is for a support person (e.g., spouse or friend) who wishes to join you on the trip to the Retreat but will not be participating in a psychedelic experience and will not require the services of a counsellor.
